What happens when my allowance runs out?
The app tells you, never the character. You can top up, wait for next month, or switch a chat to your own key if you have one. Your chats stay readable either way.
Can I use my own key on Plus?
Yes. Add a key and switch any chat to it. Messages on your key don't touch the allowance.
Is Plus Max really unlimited?
Yes, for messages. Your first 5,000 messages each month use our best model. After that, replies switch to a lighter, faster model until the month resets, and you can keep texting as much as you like. Voice notes and pictures have a monthly allowance, and you can top up.
Why does Plus have an allowance?
Every reply costs real money to generate. An allowance keeps Plus at $9.99 while still covering far more than most people chat. If you want to text without counting, Plus Max is unlimited.
What happens after Pro's 12 months?
Nothing breaks. You keep every feature you had. Features that ship after your 12 months belong to the next Pro, which owners will get at a discount. Bug fixes and safety updates are for everyone, always.
Is the beta free?
Yes. Beta testers pay nothing, every feature is open, and some testers will get a small allowance on our keys. Testers will also get a thank-you at launch.
