Wasabi Terms of Use

About these terms
Wasabi is an iPhone app made by blue bucket ("we", "us"). It lets adults text fictional AI characters. By using Wasabi you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Who can use Wasabi
You must be at least 18 years old. Wasabi is for adults only. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
What Wasabi is
Wasabi has no accounts and no sign-up. Your chats, characters, memories, pictures and voice notes are stored only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes them. You can also use "Delete everything" in Settings. The only server blue bucket runs for the app is the beta relay described below.
The characters are fictional AI, and they are always adults (21+). Every chat tells you that messages are written by AI. They are not real people, and they can be wrong.
Wasabi beta access
If blue bucket gives you a beta code, Wasabi uses blue bucket's provider accounts for you, up to an allowance. Your requests pass through blue bucket's relay, which doesn't store what you send (see the Privacy Policy). The code is personal and works on one iPhone: don't share it. blue bucket may change the allowance, pause the beta, or end a code at any time. These rules of use still apply, and so do the providers' own policies.
Your own provider accounts
Wasabi works by connecting to AI services using your own accounts and keys. You pay those services directly. Depending on what you set up, these can include Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter for text replies, OpenRouter for pictures, and ElevenLabs for voice notes.
- You are responsible for your accounts, your keys, the costs they create, and following each provider's own terms and policies.
- Your keys are kept in the iOS Keychain on this device and are sent only to the provider they belong to.
- Providers can change their prices, features or rules at any time. We don't control them.

Rules of use
When you use Wasabi, you agree not to:
- create, request or share any sexual content involving minors, or anything that makes a character read as under 18;
- create or request explicit sexual content;
- use real, identifiable people in sexual or harmful content;
- use Wasabi to harass anyone, plan harm, or break the law;
- try to get around the app's safeguards or misuse a provider's service.
Providers may have additional rules, and they may refuse or block requests.
AI can be wrong
AI output can be inaccurate, made up, or inappropriate. Wasabi is for entertainment and companionship. It is not professional advice of any kind, including medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
If you or someone else is in crisis or danger, contact your local emergency services. In the US, you can call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
Reporting
Every AI message has a Report button. If you use a beta code, the report goes to blue bucket, and we review it. It holds the reported message, your reason and your optional note, never the rest of the chat. We act on reports as quickly as we can, and may remove access for misuse. Without a beta code, reports stay on your iPhone, and you can tell us about something at [email protected].
Blocking
You can block a character from their profile or the chat list. A blocked character's chat is hidden, and they stop messaging, calling and speaking in your groups until you unblock them in Settings › Privacy & data.
Your content
You keep whatever you write. Because your content stays on your device and goes to the providers you choose, we don't receive it and don't claim any rights to it. You are responsible for what you create and send.
Changes and ending use
We may change the app or these terms from time to time. If you keep using Wasabi after a change, you accept the new terms. You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may also stop offering the app or end your access if you break these terms.
No warranty
Wasabi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and availability. We don't promise the app or any provider service will always work, be error-free, or be safe for every purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, blue bucket is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, or for costs charged by third-party providers, arising from your use of Wasabi. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts there can hear any dispute, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
