Text a character
Chat the way you'd text a friend. Do they remember things? Do they sound like themselves?
Everything you need to get going, what we'd love you to try, and the terms you agree to when you enter your code.
Install TestFlight from the App Store, then open the TestFlight link in your invite email on your iPhone.
Open Wasabi. During setup, type your code into the Wasabi beta card. Skipped it? It's in Settings › AI & voice › Wasabi beta.
Pick someone from the cast and start texting. No keys or accounts needed: your code covers the AI.
Chat the way you'd text a friend. Do they remember things? Do they sound like themselves?
Ask for one, or send your own. Every character has a voice of their own.
Put a few characters together and watch them talk to each other, and to you.
Switch calls on in Settings, under Beta, and ring someone. They're the newest part, so expect rough edges.
Last updated 1 November 2026. Entering your beta code in Wasabi means you agree to these terms. They cover the beta only; Wasabi's terms for the finished app will come with its release.
The beta is for people aged 21 or older who were invited by blue bucket and use an iPhone. Your code is personal: please don't share or post it. It works on one iPhone at a time.
Wasabi is pre-release software, provided as it is. Features will change, things will break, and an update may reset your chats or characters. We may pause or end the beta, or switch off a code, at any time.
Characters, their messages, voices and pictures are made by AI models. They're fiction. They can be wrong, inconsistent or odd, and they're not a source of medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
Every character in Wasabi is an adult. Don't use Wasabi to create content involving minors, sexual content about real people, content that harasses or threatens anyone, or anything illegal where you live. Wasabi steers away from explicit content in the beta. We may switch off the code of anyone who breaks these rules.
Your chats, characters and pictures are saved only on your iPhone. With a beta code, the messages needed for each reply go through blue bucket's beta relay to our AI providers (OpenRouter for text and pictures, ElevenLabs for voice) and back. The relay doesn't store or log them. It keeps only usage counts for your code (requests, characters spoken, cost) to run the fair-use allowance. If you report a message, that message, your reason and your optional note are sent to us so we can review it, never the rest of the chat. We keep reports for 90 days. TestFlight shares crash reports and the feedback you send with us, under Apple's terms. We keep your email address to run the beta and contact you about it, and we'll delete it if you ask.
The beta is free. Your code includes an allowance of AI usage, which you can see in the Wasabi beta screen. We may change allowances during the beta. You can also connect your own provider keys, which you pay for directly.
Thank you for it. You agree we can use the feedback you send, including ideas, to improve Wasabi, without owing you anything for it.
Talking about Wasabi is welcome. Please ask us before publishing reviews, videos or screenshots of features that haven't been announced yet.
You can stop whenever you like: tap Stop using beta access and delete the app. To have your email removed, reply to your invite email.
To the extent the law allows, the beta comes with no warranties, and blue bucket isn't liable for losses from using it, including lost chats. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
We may update these terms during the beta. If we make a big change, we'll tell you by email or in the app.
